1. Our Story – How It All Started

Every business has a story, and ours began with a simple passion for cricket and a dream to make quality cricket equipment more accessible to players.

Our journey started in Nepal in 2021, when, at just 22 years old, I took my first step into the cricket retail industry by starting my own cricket shop journey. What began as a small step driven by passion gradually became a bigger dream of building something meaningful within the cricket community.

In 2024, I moved to Australia to begin a new chapter of life. My very first job in Australia was as a cricket bat repairer in Sydney. Working hands-on with cricket bats gave me valuable experience in bat craftsmanship, repairs, maintenance, and understanding what cricketers truly expect from their equipment.

This experience strengthened my knowledge and inspired me to take the next step.

In 2025, 22 Yard Cricket was officially established in Sydney, Australia, turning years of passion, experience, and dedication into our own cricket business.

With the continued love, trust, and support of our customers, we reached another milestone in 2026 by expanding 22 Yard Cricket to Canberra.

Today, we proudly serve cricketers through our Sydney and Canberra locations, offering cricket equipment, professional bat repair services, and personalised customer support.

From starting a cricket shop journey in Nepal at 22 to building a growing cricket business in Australia, every step has taught us the value of hard work, customer trust, and staying true to our beginnings.
